Ronald McDonald House Hamilton is an addition to their location across from McMaster Hospital. The 3 storey addition has a full basement with a 7500 sq foot suspended slab over it. This project also has 2 architectural retaining walls near the existing building. This project was on a very tight and congested site. Due to the proximity to the street 3 sides of the basement required I beam and timber shoring with raker beams supporting it. We had to form our walls around the raker beams.
