Freeport Hospital expansion consisted of extensive grade beam foundations poured on caissons, a full second floor suspended slab and a new 6m deep vent shaft formed in very tight confines. The vent shaft walls needed to be formed with a maximum of 1.2m working space on the inside of a large trench box.
