Melloul Blamey 2007-2008

Mannheim WTP office expansion is a new 3 level office/ shop area. This building had the interesting challenges of working in a very tight area, forming tall walls and a stand-alone elevator and stairwell. The elevator shaft required an architectural “barn board” finish. This elevator was also built less than 10’ away from the existing building which provided some difficulty with the climbing scaffold used while forming. There is also a complex network of grade beams poured on caissons to support the structural steel building.
